Having collected records since the late 70s, Johnny Reckless started his DJ career in 1984 with a sound system playing Soul, Disco, Boogie and early House. Now in his 38th year of DJing with an extensive DJ history, highly respected by his DJ peers, Johnny is the founder of the DJ collaboration – FOUR DIRECTIONS which draws on collective club heritage and the four pillars of DANCE:
DRUM — RHYTHM — SOUND — SPIRIT
Alongside his DJ career, Johnny has worked in record stores since the late 80’s. Anyone who has purchased music in London over the last 31 years will have come across Johnny sometime, somewhere.
Johnny is a radio presenter, he has had a regular Monday Night show for nearly a decade on Colourful Radio where he plays a curated selection of Disco, Soul, Boogie, Afro, House, Funk & Fusion.
