The Founder

I grew up in a ‘lively’ household, with an open door. Music playing day and night, amazing ‘Abigail’s Party’ food and surrounded by love and laughter. Healthy Yummies is a larger extension of this ❤️

At the heart of it all is an extended kitchen table, a place that feels like home, Healthy Yummies. Our productions need a healthy and happy set, our cast/crew need to be fed, watered, and to have their spirits raised, and our employees need to feel supported to go that extra mile. I’m blessed with a tenacious management team who have an insatiable appetite for success and work tirelessly with a smile to deliver these goals AND make it look like a walk in the park!

Our food is healthy by default, every morsel made from scratch, colourful and inspiring. All set in an environment that’s welcoming, happy, and served by our amazing teams that inspire us every day.

Meet The Team

Nichola Smith

Nichola is not out on the kitchen trucks these days, but instead drives her very clear vision for Healthy Yummies from our headquarters, with this solid team of creatives and managers behind her. With a heavy focus on our environmental future, Nichola’s creative leadership continues to steer HY in the most innovative of directions.

Generalist

Dominic Kamara

Dom has worked closely with Nichola since 2015. With a strong focus on business strategy, Dom works together with Garry and Mark to implement the Healthy Yummies vision company wide.

Garry Young

Operations Director

Garry Young

Garry’s 35 year military career is evident in his vision and leadership qualities. Joining The Ivy Collection in 2015 as an Operations Director, Garry was involved with the roll out and opening of 32 Ivy Collection restaurants in 3 years. Fundamental to our growth and consistency, Garry is responsible for the overall day-to-day running of HY.

Mark Sweeney - Catering Director

Mark Sweeney

Mark is ex Royal Air Force, and was also with The Ivy Collection for a number of years before joining HY. As our Catering Director, Mark is responsible for day-to-day catering operations, including health and safety. He is responsible for the high quality of food and service across all of our sites.

Alex Collins Finance Director

Alex Collins

Since 2016, Alex has been instrumental to the financial runnings of Healthy Yummies. He engages with staff at all levels to ensure order and clarity on all financial aspects.

Jon Cooke

Art Director

Jonathon Cooke

Jon and Nichola have worked together since their music days of the early 2000s. Jon focuses on every aspect of our visual appearance, from logo and web design, to staff uniforms and the branding of our trucks. He works closely with Nadia on digital and with Ali on comms.

Nadia Ismail

Head of Digital

Nadia Ismail

Nadia has brought HY into the 2020s with her broad knowledge and understanding of digital media and its positive usage. She leads HYs online presence through planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall digital life of HY.

Ali Hughes

Head of People and Comms

Ali Hughes 

Ali joined us in our busy growth period and helped put systems and processes in place to manage the chaos of location catering. Her eyes are on administrative and general people-related activities, and she works closely with our HODs and team leaders on internal and external comms.

David oversees the running of our culinary team to ensure the highest quality of food and service, ensuring the chef’s are trained and able to execute on our menus.

Dan Brundle

Development Chef

Dan Brundle

Dan is responsible for creating the daily menus delivered to your crew by our teams of chefs. With 7+ years of film catering experience, he is able to read your crew, and deliver menus to fuel and inspire them.

Kesh Walia

Transport Manager

Kesh Walia

Kesh brings valuable fleet management experience to HY. He is responsible for vehicle compliance, safety and maintenance, and works closely with team leaders and our driver unit on every aspect of the transportation of our services to site.

Stacy is the first friendly voice our team members hear when joining our fambam.

She’s the warm hug of our uniform landing on your back. She’s our induction instructor, our mistress of administration, and our chief dessert taster!

Quebe Sanha

Quebe sustains LIFE at HYHQ – he heads up the development and creation of our sweets!! Quebe joined us at the start of 2022, from the pastry kitchens of Browns and Harrods – and the outward movement of our belt notches tells us he’s doing a GREAT JOB! 😉
