Deb Grant is a London-based DJ and broadcaster who grew up in Dublin. She has spent over 20 years hunting for records around the world and is known for her eclectic live sets as well as her daily radio show on Jazz FM, regular slots on BBC6 Music and music lover’s podcast ‘What Goes Around’. She also writes a monthly music column for the Big Issue.

We thought it’d be fun to do a little Q&A with Deb so here goes:

“The dance party scene from ‘House Party’!”

ONE OF YOUR MOST LOVED SOUNDTRACKS

“‘The Conversation’ by David Shire”

LAST SUPPER

“Turkish mezze – my fave!”

GUILTY PLEASURE

“Bread bread bread. All types of bread. I’d eat bread for every meal if I could.”

WHAT DO YOU LOVE TO COOK

“I love a good soup, I really enjoy exploring flavour combos with different veg and seasoning.”

So that concludes our Q&A with Deb Grant – now let’s get to the music 🎶

As part of our monthly guest DJ sets on #Mixcloud #Soundcloud and next in the line-up to continue our monthly sessions is Deb Grant, who will be kicking us off with this…

‘OFF KILTER DISCO – NOV 22 – BY DEB GRANT’

“Hope this mix of quirky soul and offbeat disco gives you an energy boost and adds a little wonderful weirdness to your day!”
